Who we are

KeSong Chinese is the language studio of Zoey (Ziqiao Zang) in Amsterdam. KvK 96448873, VAT NL005210187B33. Contact: info@kesongchinese.com.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to private (one-to-one) lessons and group classes, online and in person in Amsterdam. Lessons are for adults. Workshops and in-company training follow the terms in the written offer; where the offer says nothing, these terms apply.

Prices and payment

A private lesson costs €60 per hour. All prices include VAT.
Lesson packages and group classes have a price agreed in advance.
Every lesson is paid at least 2 days before the lesson date. This applies to all types of lessons.

Private lessons: cancelling and rescheduling

If you cancel 7 days or more before the agreed lesson date, you get a full refund.
Between 7 and 3 days before the lesson there is no refund, but you can still reschedule. Rescheduling is possible up to 3 days before the agreed lesson date.
If you cancel less than 3 days before the lesson, or do not show up, the lesson is charged in full.
If you arrive late, the lesson still ends at the agreed time.

Group classes

Once a group is agreed and scheduled, it goes ahead, even if only one participant remains.
If you drop out or miss a class, there is no refund. A missed class is not made up.
You cannot send someone else in your place.

Lesson packages

Lessons in a package are valid for 6 months from purchase. Lessons not used by then expire.

If Zoey has to cancel

If Zoey has to cancel a lesson, for example because of illness, you agree a new date together.

Online lessons

If the connection or technology fails on your side, the lesson counts as given. If the problem is on Zoey’s side, the lesson is rescheduled.

Right of withdrawal

If you book as a consumer at a distance (through the website, email or WhatsApp), the law gives you 14 days to change your mind. If you book a lesson that starts more than 14 days after your booking, you can cancel within those 14 days without giving a reason and get your money back. By booking a lesson that starts within 14 days, you agree that it starts early and waive the right of withdrawal for that lesson.

Teaching materials

Teaching materials are for personal use only and may not be shared or resold.

Liability

The liability of KeSong Chinese is limited to the amount you paid for the lesson concerned.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, email info@kesongchinese.com. You will get an answer within 14 days.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. They also exist in Dutch and Chinese; if the versions differ, the Dutch text prevails.
